So, I was flipping through a magazine (which I seldom do) a few months ago and saw an ad for the SVVING and I was mesmerized. I knew my two year old would FREAK out if she had an indoor swing. And I was thinking that a swing might give me a bit of relief (I just hate turning on the tv every time I start to make a meal to help keep the kids occupied while I am cooking.)
So we did a little web surfing and passed the idea onto the grandparents who totally came through with these swings for the girls for Christmas. I thought about putting them in their room, but ultimately decided that they needed to be in a central spot where I would be ok with spending A LOT of time at, and where I could multi-task while they were swinging. So they ended up in the hallway between our kitchen and back entry. This is almost all we do, as all of you parents can imagine.
So if you want to create an indoor playground to help burn energy during these cold winter months, take a look at this post by Dad verses Wild. He helped us with the logistics of how to make the indoor swing happen.
Happy Swinging…in January!
